Is a concept app to give support and therapy to immigrant nurses who are living and working in the UK far from home and family. Nurses work long hours and undergo a lot of stress both with work and Integration in the new country that they have immigrated to.
Immigrant nurses go through a lot, from travelling far from their homeland to coming to work in a different country and to often times having to leave their families behind in search for better opportunities. With the long hours and busy schedule they don't have the time to take care of themselves. Currently there is no mental health app that focuses entirely on the struggles of immigrant nurses.
Our journey begins with understanding the struggles and needs of immigrant nurses. Our goal is to make an app that allows immigrant nurses to access mental health support in an easy and comfortable way, we want to make an app that encompasses the needs of the client from mental health to suggestions/advice on events to allow them to integrate within their community.
